Assistant Manager, Business Development, MICE (1-year Contract)

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?
Assist the Senior Manager to plan, develop and implement the business development plans for generating incremental MICE arrivals from short-haul markets
Identify potential association conventions, corporate meetings and incentive leads in Mainland and short-haul markets
Bid potential MICE events to Hong Kong by sourcing venue, recommending activities and soliciting proposals
Coordinate and execute marketing programs such as website development, training program and WeChat mini-program to build business and communication platform for the Hong Kong trade to strengthen trade partnership
Provide effective administrative services on all reporting, performance tracking and statistic to help achieving sustainable growth in MICE arrivals and maximising business generation
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
University graduate in marketing, tourism, business administration or related discipline
Preferably at least 6 years of relevant working experience in business development and B2B marketing, of which from hospitality industry would be an advantage.
Experienced in handling incentive travel and corporate meetings is highly preferred
High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua is a must
Strong interpersonal skill, self-motivated and proactive
