The state-of-the-art Hong Kong West Kowloon Station is a fine building to hang out in while waiting for a train. But if you have a bit more time to explore the area nearby, there’s plenty to discover, from nature to arts, shopping, entertainment and more.
The massive Harbour City mall complex is located on Canton Road. While the street level itself is home to the Asia flagship stores of international luxury brands, inside Harbour City you’ll find about 450 shops and 70 eateries, including three Michelin-starred restaurants — ÉPURE, Sushi Tokami — Ye Shanghai — as well as the Michelin-recommended China Tang, Gordon Ramsay’s maze Grill — Jamie Oliver’s Jamie’s Italian. There are also three hotels and an art gallery. You’ll definitely want to check out the Foster+Partners-designed Ocean Terminal Deck for 270-degree views of the harbour, especially at sundown. Harbour City is a short walk from the Xiqu Centre.
