Assistant Manager, Trade Development (1-year Contract)

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?
Assist the Senior Manager to plan and execute new cross-industry collaborative approaches and programmes that generate new business opportunities.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and vendors to maintain accurate information to visitors and database for HKTB’s trade website and publications.
Assist the Trade Development Team to prepare, plan and manage B2C offers from travel trade on HKTB’s e-platforms to promote Hong Kong as a value-for-money destination
Co-ordinate local trade participation in trade networking activities and events.
Assist in updating the local trade master database for the Trade Development team.
PartnerNet registration & recruitment of Hong Kong trade partners - provide due diligent verification and assessment on the eligibility of trade applicants as well as the accuracy of registration data submitted.
Conduct regular visits to Hong Kong travel trade partners to provide them with up-to-date information on HKTB promotional activities. Offer assistance in facilitating their promotional efforts, and collect market intelligence
Provide planning, organising and execution support on ad-hoc marketing activities as assigned by supervisor.
Undertake any other duties / special assignments as directed by the manager
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
University graduate with at least 6 years work experience, preferably in Tourism or FMCG industry.
Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; outgoing and sociable.
Good team player and able to work under pressure.
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
Competent with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Knowledge and experience in CMS website maintenance and database management is preferred.
