Every winter, the Western tradition of Christmas and the Eastern love of festivals meet, mix and make merry in Asia's world city. From 25 November 2011 to 1 January 2012, the merriment hit a pinnacle with the 2011 Hong Kong WinterFest.

Victoria Harbour lived up to its role as the throbbing heart of the city’s WinterFest activities with the glamorous Tiffany & Co. Christmas tree on one side and Sino Group's ice-skating surface, Ice Wonderland, on the other. In addition, thousands of sparkling Christmas illuminations adorned both sides of the harbour as Hong Kong indulged in a festive head-to-toe makeover. The city's popular food districts got in on the act serving up seasonal treats and all across town there were winter sales and special offers. Topping it all off was a giant dazzling countdown party to welcome in 2012.

There is no better time to be in Hong Kong than during WinterFest. So, stay tuned for information on the next Winterfest, so you can share in all the fun and excitement of Asia's world city.
