Hong Kong welcomed the New Year with a stunning extravaganza. As the clock ticked towards midnight, spectators at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui and along both sides of Victoria Harbour watched a spellbinding countdown. As the clock struck 12, pyrotechnics show was launched from Two ifc and nine major surrounding buildings on Hong Kong island, exploding in a radiant shower of lights, brilliantly illuminating the beautiful harbour. Local singers performed a theme song as a complement to the pyrotechnic display. With these events taking place around glorious Victoria Harbour, this heralded to be a New Year's Eve that will live long in the memory!
