Lantau Enlightenment Tour (PM)

Lantau Island is the largest outlying island in Hong Kong. The island is known for its pristine countryside, virgin hills and lush green valleys.

The tour includes a visit to Ngong Ping 360, Hong Kong's spectacular tourism attraction that features a stunning 5.7 kilometre cable car ride up a mountainside to Ngong Ping 360. The 25-minute journey offers breathtaking panoramic views encompassing the airport, South China Sea, lush mountains and valleys, and the awe-inspiring Giant Buddha statue.

The cable car takes you to the culturally themed Ngong Ping Village, which incorporates two major attractions: Walking with Buddha and Monkey's Tale, along with a diverse array of shops and eateries.

You'll also visit the famous Po Lin Monastery nearby, and view the world's tallest seated outdoor bronze Buddha sitting atop 268 steps. A short walk away is the Wisdom Path, where you'll find an ancient prayer inscribed on a series of wooden columns in the shape of a circle 8 to represent infinity.

Another highlight of the tour is a visit to the historical fishing village at Tai O where Tanka boat people still live in their stilt houses.

Note: From time to time, the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car service is closed for regularly scheduled maintenance. On such days, the tour will take alternative transportation to Ngong Ping 360.
