New restaurants with a view

By Time Out Hong Kong

Dining in Hong Kong is exciting, dynamic and ever-changing. The only downside is that, because space is famously limited here, you’re not always eating in front of the most resplendent of views. But that doesn’t mean there are no top-drawer dining locals in the city offering incredible vistas. Here are five of our favourite recent openings that are just as much a treat for the eyes as they are for the palate.

The latest aesthetic fever-dream by designer Ashley Sutton, this bar-restaurant serves up delicious international offerings –with the buffalo wings and slow-cooked octopus being particular highlights – all while offering you a great view of the harbour.

The cult-favourite burger joint from New York finally made its Hong Kong debut in May. The IFC location – found on the mall’s rooftop garden, providing amazing views over Victoria Harbour – serves the classics, including the ShackBurger and the cheese-filled Portobello Shroom Burger. Also keep your eyes open for flavours that are exclusive to our city, such as the Milk Tea Shake and various ‘Concrete’ frozen custard desserts.
