‘The Vivid World of Chinese Characters: From the Origin to the Future’ Exhibition

Bearing witness to both peaceful, flourishing times as well as social and political turmoil experienced by the Chinese society throughout centuries, Chinese characters are not only important records of history, but they also encapsulate thousands of years of wisdom and sentiments. They are windows to the aesthetics, philosophy and overall culture of a civilisation.

In addition to written descriptions, the exhibition highlights the charming elements of Chinese characters in interaction with objects, videos and music.
