Harbour Race 2017

First held in 1906, the Cross Harbour Race was suspended in 1979. It remained one of the most popular sporting events in Hong Kong for over 70 years, attracting hundreds of participants and thousands of spectators. The idea of swimming across Victoria Harbour while enjoying a view of the natural environment and the cityscape was simply irresistible. In 2011, the event returned as the New World Harbour Race at the eastern part of Victoria Harbour, proving that the magic has not faded despite a prolonged hiatus of 33 years. This year, the Harbour Race is resuming the classic route, swimming from Tsim Sha Tsui to Wan Chai.

This event received 'M' Mark Events support in 2017.
