An intoxicating combination of fine wines and culinary delights amid a stunning harbour backdrop perhaps explains why the Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival has achieved such a name for itself since its inaugural year in 2009.
In 2013, this four-day epicurean extravaganza offered some 140,000 visitors another memorable feast, with the usual great wines from around the world, international and local culinary creations, wine culture events and superb live entertainment.
For the first time the event was held at the New Central Harbourfront, encircled by the sparkly architecture of downtown Hong Kong. New features also included the Tasting Room, where guests could enjoy wine pairing dinners, wine and cheese master classes and more.
The next edition of the event promises to be another heady mix of superb food, great wines, lively entertainment and a spectacular setting – so stayed tuned for details and prepare to enjoy the good life in Asia's world city once again!

Each year the Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival allows you to sample a riot of gastronomic artistry against the backdrop of Hong Kong’s spectacular skyline.
In 2013, over 200 producers offered superb wines (plus champagnes and cocktails), with representatives coming from Europe, Australasia, Africa and the USA. Plus visitors could top off each day with premium wines in the brand new Tasting Room, a prestigious area for master classes, wine pairing dinners and talks.
Tickle Your Tastebuds
The event isn’t just about the wine though, as chefs from some of Hong Kong’s premier hotels and restaurants cooked their signature dishes. Some 70 food booths featured barbecued specialities, scrumptious appetisers, and sweet treats for those with a penchant for dessert. Specially-designed menus included delights from around the world, such as abalone skewers, foie gras mousse, caviar jelly and milk pudding.
There is so much to eat and drink at this event that it’s hard to know where to start!
Highlights from 2013 include the Tasting Room, a premium area where visitors could enjoy wine pairing meals with master chefs, wine and food appreciation master classes and talks from prestigious industry experts. Plus some of Hong Kong’s public figures donated bottles of famous French wines for exclusive Sunset Tasting sessions.
Each evening, an array of musicians, bands and singers took to the main stage to match some chilled out tunes to the twinkling Hong Kong skyline. Throw in some specially-designed artwork and festive icons for great photo opportunities, and it’s not surprising people come back year upon year!
