Deishui Naamyam is a unique local narrative singing tradition important both for its artistic and cultural values. Zuni experiments with a cutting-edge theatre soundscape to rebuild the audio-visual space of the 20th century. Blind musician Dou Wun uses different voices to act as various characters in his story, and his qinhu to produce sound effects as he tells the hilarious story of a 20th century brothel.
