Walk along this five-kilometre trail for a look at 21 declared monuments. From bridges to aqueducts, arches to dams, you can get a good look at the engineering and architectural styles dating back over a century. This relatively complex water supply system was constructed as part of the Tai Tam Scheme and Tai Tam Tuk Scheme between 1883 and 1917 in order to cater for the ever-increasing demand for water, which allowed for urbanisation of the eastern side of Hong Kong Island.
