Come and feel the passion and exuberance of Hong Kong people on New Year's Eve as Two ifc, the city’s tallest building, becomes the launching pad for a stunning first-ever display of special pyrotechnic effects that will light up the sides of this magnificent edifice.

Countdown to a Magical Experience 

As the clock ticks towards midnight, the harbour will pulsate to the rhythms of A Symphony of Lights, a multimedia spectacular that combines lights, lasers and music, and includes more than 40 skyscrapers on both sides of Victoria Harbour. It’s recognised as the World’s Largest Permanent Light and Sound Show by Guinness World Records. There will be pyrotechnics for extra effect.


Two ifc

 


Just seconds before midnight, the majestic Two ifc is transformed by another magnificent pyrotechnic display that is sure to leave the audience spellbound. With the breathtaking view of Victoria Harbour as a backdrop, this promises to be a New Year’s Eve that will long be remembered!

1. Kowloon side


 

Along Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront between the Avenue of Stars and the Hong Kong Cultural Centre (Spectators can listen to the show's music and narration live)
Directions: MTR East Tsim Sha Tsui Station Exit J, and follow the signs. or

 

Along West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade
Directions: MTR Jordan Station Exit C1 or MTR Kowloon Station Exit A, then take a taxi.




 

2. Hong Kong Island


 

Along the promenade at the Golden Bauhinia Square in Wan Chai (Spectators can listen to the show's music and narration live)
Directions: MTR Wan Chai Station Exit A5.  Follow signs to Golden Bauhinia Square by covered walkway.  About a 15-minute walk. or

 

Along Wanchai Waterfront Promenade
Directions: MTR Causeway Bay Station Exit A, then take a taxi. or



As extensive road closures will be in effect from 6:30pm onwards in Tsim Sha Tusi area on the day of event, visitors are advised to arrive at the above vantage points early to avoid congestion.



3. Join a Countdown Cruise and watch the show from a cruise boat in the harbour.
