  BARRIER-FREE TRAVEL

Barrier-free travel allows visitors with disabilities access to public transport, hotels and restaurants, cinemas, public attractions, telephones and washrooms while visiting Hong Kong.

In Hong Kong, we fully support barrier-free travel. We have many facilities and services that are accessible to disabled travellers. The Government has also purchased a bus which can be used by travellers who need to use a wheelchair. Visitors wishing to use this bus-for-hire service should contact the Easy - Access Travel Ltd of the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation. It is always best to plan ahead and to give advance notice so that the best possible service can be provided when you arrive in town.
