  Major Transportation Routes
Getting around town is easy with Hong Kong's accessible and convenient public transport system during the day and night.
To and From Ports of Entry
By air
Hong Kong International Airport
The fastest way to the downtown areas is to take the Airport Express train. It will whisk you to Central on Hong Kong Island in about 24 minutes. A free Airport Express Shuttle Bus takes travellers from the MTR Hong Kong or Kowloon Stations to transport interchanges and major hotels. If you are staying for less than one month, purchase a round-trip Airport Express ticket and save HK$10/HK$20. When you leave, free in-town check-in and porter services are available at MTR Hong Kong and Kowloon Stations. Travellers can check-in their luggage anytime between one day and 90 minutes before their flight.
By land
