When the workday is done and you want to socialise, join the fun at Hong Kong's trendy night districts in Central, Wan Chai, Causeway Bay and Tsim Sha Tsui. These compact, carefree and lively destinations are where affluent professionals, local and expatriate, meet and mix. You'll find the place that fits your mood: happening bars, neighbourhood pubs, funky nightclubs, hostess bars, sophisticated wine bars, and places where you can wine and dine.

The buzz starts happening with happy hour, usually 6pm - 9pm and sometimes till midnight, with two-for-one or half-priced drinks. Ask for the specials before ordering. After 10:30pm, look for the bars and nightclubs that have live bands, or go to a club with great house music and get into the groove. Many clubs are open all night long so you can party all you want. If that isn't your scene, check out the bars with live sports broadcasts.
