MEGA EVENT SERIES

The 16-day festivities concluded on 15 October after one of the most colourful celebrations ever, especially extended as part of the Hong Kong Tourism Board's Mega Event series to mark 2006 Discover Hong Kong Year. The Mid-Autumn Festival is full of folklore and traditions, a time when families gather under the harvest moon, wonder at spectacular lantern displays, and gorge on seasonal delicacies like moon cakes!
