The Quality Tourism Services (QTS) Scheme makes it easy for you to find shops, restaurants, budget visitor accommodation and hair salons that you can trust.

Under the scheme administered by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, QTS-accredited establishments must pass stringent annual assessments showing that they meet high standards of product quality and service. They must:
• Provide clearly displayed prices
• Display clear information
• Ensure superb customer service

The Hong Kong Tourism Board has commissioned Hong Kong Productivity Council as the consultant of the QTS Scheme for conducting the assessments and mid-year surveillance visits for shopping and dining merchants. As for visitor accommodation premises and hair salons, the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency is the appointed agent for conducting assessments.

For more than 10 years, the QTS Scheme, with the staunch support of all accredited merchants continuously reinforces Hong Kong’s image as a destination offering quality tourism services and products. To recognise QTS merchants for their contribution and promote the QTS Scheme, the Hong Kong Tourism Board has organised a QTS Outstanding Merchant Award. In addition, QTS merchants who have been accredited for 10 consecutive years or more will also receive a specially designed QTS decal for display in their shop fronts.
