The Nutcracker by Hong Kong Ballet

An all-new version of the holiday classic, The Nutcracker will have its world premiEre this Christmas. This festive favourite has been re-imagined for the 21st century by celebrated Australian choreographer, Terence Kohler, with set and costume designer, Jordi Roig. Terence and his creative team have drawn inspiration from E.T.A. Hoffman's original tale, The Nutcracker and the Mouse King, and created a charming story about growing up and the sacrifices we make for those we love. When Uncle Drosselmeyer brings over a mysterious dollhouse on Christmas Eve, Clara and her brother Fritz embark upon a journey of magical proportions. This ballet promises to indulge the audience's senses with an entirely new visual experience.
