Visit West Kowloon Cultural District — a growing arts and cultural hub with green open spaces, expansive views of Victoria Harbour, and a prime setting for sunset selfies in the city.

Just a 10-minute walk from MTR Kowloon Station, West Kowloon Cultural District is a quiet haven from the busy streets of Tsim Sha Tsui and the perfect place to take in Hong Kong’s iconic Victoria Harbour. It is also currently home to two exciting new venues for arts and cultural events, the M+ Pavilion and the Nursery Park, with more venues opening in the near future, including the Xiqu Centre, the Lyric Theatre Complex, Freespace and M+, Hong Kong’s new museum of visual culture.

Newly opened, the M+ Pavilion hosts regular small-scale exhibitions and arts activities, and is the main venue for M+ events until the completion of the M+ building in 2019.

With its open green spaces, the Nursery Park invites you to relax, play, picnic on the lawns, stroll along the boardwalk, or catch a perfect sunset. The park is also an informal venue for street artists and, between September and March, the free art and cultural events series Freespace Happening — a programme of live music, performances, workshops, handicraft market and other regular attractions. Throughout the year, the park also regularly hosts cultural activities of all types and sizes.
