Lee
Ngor
Mr Lee is a former Hong Kong broadcaster who started his fondly remembered
one-man story-telling radio programme in 1946. Making use of his talented
and versatile voice, he gave life to each different character in the show.
The successful programme captured the hearts of audiences in Hong Kong,
the Mainland and Macau. He is considered the pioneer of story telling
in Hong Kong.
Dr
Ng Chun Bong
Head of the Cinema & Television Department at Hong Kong Baptist University's
School of Communication, Dr Ng worked in the TV industry in the early
years of his career. He has great knowledge of Hong Kong community life
and has authored a number of publications about the early days of the
city. Today, his teaching work gives him the opportunity to share his
knowledge of Hong Kong's history.
Wai
Kee Shun
Mr Wai is a member of the 9th Chinese People's Political Consultative
Conference (CPPCC). He also holds posts with a number of local sports
associations including Vice President of the Hong Kong Football Association,
Vice President of the Hong Kong Wushu Union and committee member of the
Hong Kong Chinese Martial Arts Association. An expert on Hong Kong current
affairs, Mr Wai has hosted a number of TV programmes as well as being
a columnist for various newspapers and magazines.
Chan
Sui Jeung
Mr Chan worked for the Hong Kong Government for more than three decades,
retiring as a staff grade Administrative Officer. For much of this time,
he was posted to District Offices in the New Territories, giving him a
strong interest and knowledge in traditional Chinese festivals and folklore.
He is now an Honorary Research Fellow of the Centre of Asian Studies at
Hong Kong University, specialising in Hong Kong and Chinese history.
Alan
Wong
Mr Wong is General Manager for Corporate Communications of Cathay Pacific
Airways. As a member of the Publicity and International Marketing Sub-committee
of the City of Life: Hong Kong is it! tourism campaign, he is responsible
for overseeing publicity and promotion aspects of the project.
William
Tang
One of Hong Kong's best known fashion designers, Mr Tang is a descendant
of the long-established Tang clan in Yuen Long and has vast knowledge
of the history, culture and living style of the New Territories. As well
as being the host of various radio and TV programmes, he is a columnist
who actively promotes the traditions and culture of Hong Kong.
Chung
Wai Ming
Mr Chung is
an experienced broadcaster who has been working in the industry for more
than half a century. He was involved in movie making in his early years
of career. After that he joined local radio stations Rediffusion and Radio
Television Hong Kong (RTHK). Today, he still participates in RTHK shows
as a guest host, especially of programmes targeted at elderly audiences.
