Lantau and Monastery Tour

Hong Kong International Airport is located adjacent to Hong Kong's largest island, Lantau, which is renowned for the Giant Buddha statue and the Ngong Ping 360 cable car and culturally themed village set amid stunning scenery.

Visit the Tanka boat people's stilt-house fishing village at Tai O, then take a winding road up to a 520-metre plateau to visit the famous Po Lin Monastery and view the world's tallest seated outdoor bronze Buddha statue. The tour includes a vegetarian lunch prepared by the monks at the monastery. You can also take the 5.7km Ngong Ping Cable Car that provides spectacular panoramic views of the Giant Buddha, Lantau North Country Park, the South China Sea and Hong Kong International Airport.

Return to the airport hotel around 3:30-4pm, leaving you time for an evening flight connection out of Hong Kong.
