Description:
To celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, this exhibition will show how China has evolved from a dynastic empire into a strong and prosperous country. Highlights of the exhibition include a review of the social and economic developments over the past century. There is also the royal seal of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, a volleyball autographed by members of the China National Women's Volleyball Team and the training spacesuit worn by Mr. Yang Lewei, the country's first astronaut to orbit the earth.
