February 14 - New Year's Day 3

Tradition:
Families visit Che Kung Temple. (The Che Kung festival actually falls on the Second Day of Chinese New Year. However, Hong Kong people visit the temple on the Third Day because it is believed that people are prone to quarrel on that day.)

Suggested activities:
Visit
Che Kung Temple. Shop along Canton and Nathan roads, enjoying the crazy discounts and soaking up the New Year's atmosphere. Relax with a sumptuous dinner in a top-class hotel and then catch a night cruise taking in the magnificent harbour lights .
